Ross trained at the Ministry of Works in the early 1980’s and started contract draughting a few years later. Debbie’s finance and retail experience complements their partnership. Both have worked on construction sites in New Zealand. Most recently, they have been involved in two of NZ’s largest electricity projects this century; Contact Energy’s Te Mihi Geothermal Power Station at Taupo and Transpower’s HVDC Pole 3 Upgrade at Benmore.

Ross has contracted to a number of Civil and Structural Engineers throughout New Zealand and has collected an extensive library of details and work methods.

He has also worked for a range of mechanical companies from stainless steel sheet metal fabricators to large heavy steel workshops where he gained valuable experience in constructability and functionality.
